Located in Green Bay, Wisconsin,
US Cheese began manufacturing in October 2002. Founder Mark Laack is a 5th generation cheese maker
with 30 years experience. He is also the co-founder of Laack
Bros Cheese. About 80% of US cheese are under US Specialty
Cheese brand: the rest is reserved for private label and custom
formulation. All products are grade A, spreadable and refrigerated
cheese. Cream and cheddar based cheeses are available in a
variety of flavors that include private label dips.
In just a few short months from opening the operation, customers
now extend from the east to the west coasts, reaching as far
as Florida and Texas. The company currently manufactures 1.5
to 16oz containers for retail sales and 2 to 30lb bulk packs
for the food service industry.
